In September, the Plan Vivo Foundation Carbon Standard held its stakeholder event in Edinburgh and celebrated 25 years of activity.<\/span>At the Dovecot Studio, nearly 90 people gathered to share and discuss implemented projects. Projects that put at the center communities, their empowerment and a more sustainable land management.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

The scope of the event was to discuss how to scale up actions to respond to a growing demand of robust forest carbon offsets, without compromising on community benefits.<\/h5>[vc_empty_space height=”10px”]<\/div><\/div><\/div>

During the event three thematic workshops were organized: on voluntary carbon markets, on scaling up projects and financing biodiversity. A professional graphic designer turned proposals and ideas in drawings and schemes, a very inclusive and powerful mechanism to engage attendants.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
